Snack of the Week: 180nutrition Protein Slice
This is perfect if you need that sweet treat during the day or after dinner.
1/2 cup coconut oil – melted
1/2 cup nut butter – I like using cashew
2 Tbsp sweetener – I use rice malt syrup
1 tsp vanilla powder/extract
2 heaped Tbsp cacao
1 cup Coconut 180 Nutrition
Optional add ins: 1 tsp cinnamon, cacao nibs, nuts
1/4 cup desiccated coconut
Mix all ingredients (excluding desiccated coconut) together until well combined and pour into a lined baking tray or container. Sprinkle with coconut and place in the fridge. Leave for at least 30 minutes and then cut into bars.
This melts quickly in the heat so best to keep it in the fridge until you want to eat some.
Don’t eat it all at once (loaded with good fats).
